With its launch problems well behind it, Street Fighter 5 is no longer a disgrace to the family name, with the Champion Edition able to take on any other fighter this generation.

If this is your first time wanting SFV, then now if your time to jump in. Street Fighter V: Champion Edition brings all content in one package, immediately and with no delays. Street Fighter V has come a long way and even if it's not perfect and satisfying for many, it's definitely the one to go for over Vanilla and Arcade Edition. Allowing crossplay with PC is a nice bonus along with the hundreds of costumes, hours of offline content and of course all the fighters ready to fight.

Maybe the best 1vs1 fighting game ever made.
I've been playing fighting games since I was a child with Street Fighter II in the Sega Genesis, and I think SFV CE has finally reached the best combination ever of great mechanics, cool characters, cast balance and fun.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is a convincing expansion, the perfect entry point into the series for newbies, while offering a range of improvements for everyone.
If you’re looking for a solid 1v1 fighting game, you really can’t go wrong with Street Fighter V: Champion Edition, there truly is a ton of value here. Just be forewarned that the online experience is severely lacking.
With 40 characters, 34 stages and more than 200 costumes, Street Fighter V Champion Edition is the most complete and advanced version of the game. Even if some of these contents could be obtained through the game progress and buyable DLCs, the standalone version is a no brainer purchase if you never bought the previous versions of the game.
This is exactly what Street Fighter players have wanted. A game where all of their favorite characters and skins are available, and not having to wait for Capcom to release them when they see fit. The fighting is engaging and rewarding. Each fighter feels unique and offers a wide array of offensive attacks that land as intended. But with most modes locked behind the PS Plus service, it’s a hard buy, even if you are looking to upgrade from the base Street Fighter V game.
Despite having four years of updates behind it, Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is far from the definitive version of the game. Though the core fighting engine powering this title is sound, its poor netcode and lack of polish stick out like a sore thumb.

Instead of the DLC coming with the game, like other special editions, this game has you put in a code which **** if you're borrowing the game, and the download takes 1 HOUR!!! Capcom messed up this special edition, which without the code, makes the game the same as the regular game. Worst street fighter game ever!!!
