What adventure lovers will appreciate the most about this game, I think, is the fact that, with all its polish and rich production values, it's still at heart a completely traditional third-person point-and-click adventure.
A very humours game. With luminous graphics, dozens of different locations to explore, and a zany set of characters to interact with it is a value at the retail price of $30 US. Oh and it has toilets… lots of them.
All in all I had a nice time playing the Stupid Invaders. Still, if you are a serious adventure player, it won't take you more than a day or two to complete all four disks.
Funny gags, cool graphics, neat characters and easy progression make this an ideal way to wile away a rainy day. Don't expect too much and I guarantee you'll be pleasantly surprised.
If there is a patch by the time you read this, and you're the type who pegs the name Peter Johnson as a redundancy, then you'll probably get a kick out of it.
Maybe it excels with its graphics but it tries too hard to be funny and many jokes don't work at all.
A great concept marred by exceptionally bad implementation. A game that is impossible to recommend to anyone, for any reason.
