  • Summary: System Crash is a story-driven cyberpunk collectible card game inspired by Blade Runner and Neuromancer. When corporations own everything and the line between man and machine is blurred, your only option is to fight to survive.

System Crash’s campaign is compelling, as are the actual card game’s mechanics. It's smart and satisfying - but having multiplayer functionality present would have catapulted it to the upper echelons of digital card gaming.

I had to come out of the woodwork for this one. As a designer myself, I cannot respect the dev (Rogue Moon Studios) of this game enough!. He did the coding, design, and writing HIMSELF. I can't imagine the amount of work that went into this game but really shows!

As it's a one time buy, it kinda feels like those old TCG's on GBA back in the day. Everything is in-house. By just playing the game you get money (credits) to buy more cards directly or go on missions to get packs.

The game itself is rather simple on the surface but has a lot of room for interesting mechanics that supports the system very, VERY well.

If you're into cyberpunk (there's an actual story in this game), have some time to learn some rather simple but deep mechanics, I cannot recommend this game more.
