Tales from the Borderlands is killing it in just about every capacity. The writers, the aesthetic, the voice actors, the gameplay, everything is living up to what I would want out of a non-FPS Borderlands game.

Tales from the Borderlands got off to a good start last year, and now that Atlas Mugged is finally here, the series has only gotten better.

There is no question episode three has some big shoes to fill as “Tales From the Borderlands: Episode 2 – Atlas Mugged” continues Telltale’s successful string of story driven adventures.

As second episodes go, it’s a strong one. Plenty of things happen, but nothing too meaningful as it continues to lay a foundation for what will likely become a pretty zany finale. Still, the jokes were funny and there were a few good action sequences.

If you’re a fan of Borderlands, you should be invested in this series, yet even if you aren’t, the characters and quirky world will do enough to draw you in.

Telltale knows what it's doing, but having set such high standards we'd expected something more. In the end, Atlas Mugged comes out as unfunny and just plain standard.

The trademark Borderlands humor and Telltale story prowess are missing from Atlas Mugged, which forces players to spend the whole game preparing to do something instead of just doing it.

I think it's easily the best Telltale series so far. It's hard to compare to the emotional appeal that GoT and Walking Dead have, but the humor makes up for the lack of seriousness in an awesome way. Plus, you do still feel attached to the characters. Also, the opening credit sequences are absolutely amazing compared to any other game. Expand

As a huge Telltale Games fan, liking all of their major games I have to say this by no means is this the weak link in the chain. Tales fromAs a huge Telltale Games fan, liking all of their major games I have to say this by no means is this the weak link in the chain. Tales from the Borderlands offers unique character changing showing different perspectives and ultimately leave you with little to no time to respond in the dialogue. Episode 2 did not disappoint hitting every key theme especially comedy which sets this Telltale game aside. Expand

Loving the character development and the classic Telltale style, with the Borderlands story I know and love.

this episode was able to go much farther than the last episode as far as humor and wackiness goes because it already established the plot. Ithis episode was able to go much farther than the last episode as far as humor and wackiness goes because it already established the plot. I loved it. the only things wrong with this episode is there is a little bit of down time that sticks out like a sore thumb and the ending that I got was abrupt, but maybe if you made another decision it would be different. I liked this episode and am still on board with the series. the only reason I like the first episode better is because it really established the tone of the game and this episode didn't really do anything new which is fine but the first episode just stands out for that reason and I think that has been the case with all of telltales games so far (except first season walking dead the second episode was probably the best) Expand

Episode 2 was a little disappointing in some aspects, the variety and amount of player interaction seemed much more limited that the first episode and there only seemed to be about half as much content, still this was not a terrible thing simply because the first episode was so giving in relation to the price, but still I feel the series cut back a notch on this particular episode from what was a truly epic start, but still has my interest and am again looking forward to the next installment. My choices for the majority of the episode felt like they had little impact and really meant anything, and the scripted sequences overall felt pretty boring! Plus no nice little cameo of any vault hunters in this episode. The whole episode felt pretty tedious to be honest however, the Handsome Jack moments were great and luckily he was able to help carry the episode. Overall i was relatively uninterested in this episode and i am not really that excited for the next. Wasn't even anything that shocked me or found a surprising twist in the story. TTG please try harder for episode 3. Expand
