From belly laughs to heart-wrenching despair, Tales From The Borderlands has had it all. It's absolutely Telltale's best series to date, and it's entirely fitting that this finale is also its greatest episode.

Tales is far and away the most entertaining game I've played from Telltale yet.... And given the way the final episode ends, I'm very much looking forward to the sure-to-come second season.

As a story-based game, it features some of Telltale's best writing to date and its humor separates it from the developer's more recent efforts. It also features a shocking amount of replay value and actually made me want to play the finale more than once to see the various character interactions, as well as find any little things I might have missed.

It took time for Tales from the Borderlands to express its full potential, but it finally happened, and what you get is a story worthy of your time, since in the end every piece of the puzzle gets to its rightful place.

The last Tales from the Borderlands episode does exactly what the last episodes should do. It answers the questions you have asked since the first episode and offers some of the most memorable moments in the entire series. In short, it’s a great ending that will make you laugh and touch your heart. More laugh, less touching.

I am a huge telltale fan and an even bigger tales from borderlands fan. Not only is this the best episode in Tales from Borderlands, I think its the best episode in any telltale endeavor, and thats saying quite a lot. All plot lines are wrapped up neatly and nicely, even the aesthetic choices have meaning and the balance of humor and intensity is perfect. Better yet, It sets itself up for a VERY interesting season two. If you ever doubted this telltale franchise, give it another chance for the sake of getting to this episode. If you haven't given these types of games a shot yet, tales from borderlands is the perfect place to start and this episode is really something to look forward to. It goes to show how well written and humorous this series is, as outside of telltale, I'm a much larger fan of ASOIF, Fables and The Walking Dead. But really, this is the best of the bunch in my opinion. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Tales from the Borderland episode 5 - The Vault of the Traveler does something no other game has as far as I can remember. It lets you reflect.
When you have defeated the Vault monster and go into the vault you are met with a long dialogue between Fiona and Rhys who talk about how far they have got. And you feel it. Instantly you think about all what has happened (All those people that have died, the destruction of planets, what you gained and what you lost. You truly feel like you have been on a journey with all these characters. That is why, Tales from the Borderlands may have one of the most satisfying endings of all times, if not the most satisfying.

This has got to be my favourite Telltale game ever and I played The Walking Dead season 1

Only Telltale can take an already immersive world that is Borderlands and put something of its own into it, just like they did with The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, but not so much with GOT

They made original and refreshing characters that you cared about and related to and it made you cry and feel sort of empty inside when you had to say goodbye to them. They made a story so interesting and emotional that Gearbox allowed it to significantly affect the Borderlands universe ( you know what I'm talking about ). Voice acting is simply superb, the music is fitting and memorable and every element of this game is just perfect.

Thank you Telltale for this amazing journey and experience, for making me feel like I haven't felt in a while.
