    The Bradwell Conspiracy is a quiet exploration of resistance under capitalism, and the repercussions of a 'better' world. The environments are extravagantly detailed and the puzzles become increasingly intricate, towards a denouement that's shocking yet grounded in our own experiences.

    Its fair to say that TBC touches on a lot of timely concerns but doesn’t have the wiggle room to delve further. As far as I’m concerned, the game is a parable on the arrogance of exploiting heritage sites. Back in the early 20th century, Stonehenge was actually bought from the Antrobus family and ‘gifted’ to the nation by Cecil Chubb. Let’s hope that life won’t imitate art and the great lithic monument doesn’t end up as an expensive ornament for a rich family.

    The Bradwell Conspiracy is a masterpiece of narrative storytelling, brimming with wit and nuance throughout its 5-6 hours of so-so gameplay. While its latter stages begin to drag slightly, The Bradwell Conspiracy is well worth its 14.99 GBP asking price. This one is an essential for any Portal fan, and I can't wait to see what A Brave Plan has in store for their next offering.

    In the past it was big and noisy games that inspired me. For quite some time now, it's surprisingly often the smaller ones. Games that take their time. Games that create moments that touch me in such a way that they lift me out of my soles. Games like What Remains of Edith Finch. The Bradwell Conspiracy would like to clearly hit this notch, but unfortunately the debut of A Brave Plan doesn't succeed. It lacks depth and courage, at the same time the game is struggling with too many problems. Nevertheless, The Bradwell Conspiracy has a charm that I can't deny - I don't want to deny! I just had a lot of fun immersing myself in the secrets of Bradwell, especially with the photo function and the great written and spoken Amber.

    It’s got an interesting world, and a creative puzzle mechanic hook that could be very interesting if expanded upon. I should mention I never got tired of looking at it either. The Bradwell Foundation’s Brutalist and Bauhaus influences are a gorgeous low-poly complement to what we saw in Control earlier this year, and I love the effort that went into the various posters and props. But even those elements are mostly front-loaded. I rarely say “I wish this game were longer,” but in the case of The Bradwell Conspiracy I think it could’ve used probably twice as long to tell its story, and twice as many puzzles to take advantage of the SMP.

    With a fun off-screen companion and an interesting story to delve into based on real-world concerns, The Bradwell Conspiracy is a fairly enjoyable experience even if a weak ending and an assortment of glitches hold it back from its full potential.

    I really enjoyed it! The game is quite cinematic in its approach, with a really interesting and engaging story set in an alternate future. TheI really enjoyed it! The story manages to balance witty humour and rather serious and sometimes eerily current themes, reminiscent of black mirror but with a comedic edge. It is intelligent fun, but thought-provoking and makes you want to find out what Bradwell is all about. The attention to detail in design is astounding and I’d recommend taking your time to explore all the beautifully designed spaces. I found it very unique to have such color vibrancy in some of the brutalist architecture.

    The puzzles and mechanism can be tricky and might test your patience at times, but this is not a game one should rush through. With your AI glasses on you explore and communicate by snapping pictures and 'Amber' will help out with her rather snarky humour. The voice acting is definitely a highlight, as is the sound and music design - both on point in creating a mysterious atmosphere. I’d hope that the story gets a second part I surely am curious to find out more.    … Expand

I love the innovative gameplay mechanics and the idea of having a hint system in the game in the form of sending photos of things to another character to get advice or progress through locked areas is great! The design of the world and the corporate branding in the building is perfect, it really adds to the believability of space you're navigating around.… Expand

    Despite relying on solving puzzles to advance the story, the number of puzzle sections were not numerous or particularly difficult, leading to a fairly short playtime for players of games like Portal or Quantum Conundrum. The use of the unique tool used to solve puzzles felt fairly restricted which meant you sometimes had to search for ammo if you lacked the requisite amount for a given puzzle.
    Notably at one section, I was one piece away from solving a puzzle and was unable to find any more materials lying around. Instead, I removed a piece from a previous puzzle: a track piece critical to connect the pods to the escape route. However, the game advanced as if the piece was still there, which was a bit jarring. The placement of objects can be a bit frustrating too, with the difficulty of the last puzzle stemming from finagling with the positions of the objects rather than solving the location of where to put them.

    The story is decent and can be discovered through reading e-mails and logs throughout the game. This provided to be unnecessary however, as near the end of the game you are treated to a nice exposition dump that reveals everything anyways. Perhaps there are a few logs that I missed but I am still left wondering about the motivations of the antagonist, what exactly happened in 2007, as well as where exactly the 'substance' comes from.

    Overall the game was quite enjoyable up until near the end where I realized there was no unique utilization of the tool you are given or expansion of the story beyond what the logs revealed. If you enjoy puzzle-fueled FPS narratives you'll probably enjoy this game, but don't expect any head-scratchers.
