Oct 19, 2011Technically solid, the game suffers from a lack of character customization, lack of suspense and overly long cutscenes. The combat system and multiplayer mode are reasonably good, so there's visible potential. Maybe we'll a second Cursed Crusade in the not too far future that learns from this game's mistakes – I'd be pleased.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Nov 15, 2011Easy and smooth combat system with a cooperative campaign and RPG elements cannot hide the flat and boring level design and overall emptiness of the game. [Nov 2011]
-
Sep 26, 2011The delays before the launch of the game were a bad omen - and another delay would have been a good idea. The game feels like it has been taken away from the developer before it was finished, but released nontheless.
-
CD-ActionNov 29, 2011The game is absorbing but lacks in many aspects – it seems that Kylotonn focused on the combat system and forgot about everything else. [December 2011, p.50]
-
Nov 10, 2011Gameplay is lame, the story feels boring after a couple of minutes, the characters just don't fit, bugs and lack of polish are everywhere. And it's a shame, because sometimes you can feel that TCC could've been a good title.

Nov 15, 2011Despite the promising premise, an original character development system and spectacular finishing moves, The Cursed Crusade will scare away many people in just 20 minutes. The problem lies in poorly-placed checkpoints, stiff controls and overly annoying attempts at realism. Rapidly degrading weaponry is a definite buzz-kill.

Oct 28, 2011It might have been your average good-class hack and slash game with a bit of RPG that might have entertained you for at least ten hours. But who wishes to drudge half a day with game's nonsensical and unavailing faults? No one.
