The Entropy Centre is far and away one of the best first-person puzzlers you can play. If the genre does anything for you, you should come away satisfied with what the game has in store.

The worlds of Portal and Tenet combine to bring a puzzling game about turning back time.

The Entropy Centre is a fun, clever, and taxing puzzler that rewards your effort, persistence and, frankly, backwards thinking.

With The Entropy Centre behind me, I’m fascinated by what Stubby Games accomplished with its debut. It’s full of excellent puzzles, but the stuff around them, like bugs and narrative pacing, stop the entire package from coming together in an equally impressive way. Despite the exhaustion I felt as the credits rolled, I’m stoked The Entropy Centre exists. It brings something unique and new to the genre, and I hope Stubby Games continues to iterate on that in a sequel, spin-off, or spiritual successor. It’s not every day a game shows me something I’ve never seen before that it also happens to nail, and what The Entropy Centre does well is worth pushing through its long narrative to ensure you see every trick up its sleeve.

It's portal but now you can rewind some boxes to solve creative and funny puzzles. The Entropy Centre evolves constantly to surprise you on each level until his last minutes.

While there may be a few stumbles along the way, The Entropy Centre has a unique twist on a familiar premise in this particular genre. It may not redefine it in any new ways, but it's something that will help scratch an itch in a brand-new way.

The Entropy Centre is a more than competent Portal tribute with clever time-manipulation puzzles and an endearing cast, but it doesn't take its clever concept as far as it seems like it should.

    Excellent Portal-Like.

The environments are magnificent as in Portal we find ourselves in an abandoned laboratory with robots who want to kill us.

The puzzles are satisfying and the story is really gripping.

The humor is also successful without being hilarious.

It really is a very good game. A real success.
It doesn't surpass Portal 2 but it does pay homage to it in a very nice way.
    If I give Portal 2 a 19/20.
    I give Entropy Center a solid 17/20.

Go for it if you liked Portal and if you like puzzles, and it's not expensive;)

If you're looking for narrative puzzle games, this is worth getting. The length is good. The difficulty is medium - the last handful of puzzles are difficult enough, but hardcore puzzlers might want more of a challenge. It's definitely an homage to Portal, but in a way that's more interesting and novel than other Portal-inspired games. The Talos Principle is another similar game worth getting that's more difficult with less variety in puzzle elements. Nothing in The Entropy Centre has a chance to get boring before a new kind of block, gate, or switch is introduced.

Performance, music, voice acting, controls, settings, all the little things were perfectly polished. A couple very occasional bugs occurred, but it's a new developer and I doubt you'll notice them.

Entropy is one of my favorite philosophical concepts also, so I loved playing a game that explores the existential consequences of it. Extremely satisfying game to play.

There are a lot of inconsistencies in the story itself. Many things are not explained at all. If the creators wanted to stuff the main character into a never ending loop of the same events, then that doesn't sit well in my overall satisfaction of the journey I took. It's a wasted potential, since it kind of hints at the possibility that each further play through might actually fix something and make things better. It doesn't. The story could have been the main driver of this game and guarantee a replayability, and it actually kills it in the end. Uninstalled, won't return. Expand

Like the Jews built blocks to the Egyptians, you have to do the same...Every morning you come to work...That is your job...To solve cubeLike the Jews built blocks to the Egyptians, you have to do the same...Every morning you come to work...That is your job...To solve cube puzzles...It's a repetitive job like any job...Instead of a boss you have a friendlier female voice who keeps track of any sign of you trying to find anything that would make you happier...You are alone out in space in a facility which produce energy , in case something bad would happen to Earth they could roll back in time before the catastrophe hit earth like never ever happened...

So while whole Earth celebrating life ,sex and what not, you come to work to arrange cubes in such a way that it would open the door for the next level...Day after day during all your life...

Now let me tell you, I have never worked a single second in my life...Who ever invented money as a reward for working cannot make be budge...Life is meant to celebrated and I intend to keep it that way...The people who made this game obviously are used to work & for them such a game could be seen as fun...

Well , they could work all day & all night...I kept it on a minimum dose of one single puzzle for a day...Once I have opened the next door the game saved your position and I could breath & move to a better life...

One day I woke up sweating and stressed...The work has finally took a toll on my free soul & I felt a slave exactly like the the Jews in Egypt but instead of waiting to Moses to save me I got out of my house to break free and never looked back...I was a free man once more...
