  1. All things considered, Die Gilde 2: Venedig is a game for folks who played the first game, as well as noobs that are entering the Die Gilde-universe the first time.

On one side there are the beautiful graphics and enthralling music and on the other the unbridled hectic. No time to stop and smell the roses, due to economy, politics and family planning being very hard to cover all at once. As an add-on The Guild 2: Venice is somewhat lacking but for newcomers it’s still very recommendable. [Issue # 16]
  3. Unbelievable! JoWood publishes an Add-On which ultimately spoils all the fun of the original game with lousy graphics, horrible interface and lackluster gameplay.

It's not easy to make a good sim and it's not easy to play one well, but when shabby (and shabbily-supported) products like this one are rushed out the door, it's obviously not you having trouble with time and resource management -- it's the publisher.
  5. This stand-alone Venetian expansion adds practically nothing to the gameplay of The Guild 2.

We can imagine Venice like RPG tycoon game or Machiavelli-like adventure. Instead you have to think hard how to make things work in this game. This project is predestined to suck. [Issue#173]

A horrible expansion that adds little to nothing. Basically no good changes regarding the gameplay, bad graphics, just a big disappointment.
