For an avid Sims player like myself, I’d definitely recommend you spend the £14.99 on the Origin Store for this Game Pack – but if you’re into a more vanilla experience with your Sims, maybe give this one a miss until the time comes that you’re ready to venture into the world of owning a restaurant.
The Sims 4 Dine Out is a great game pack that doesn’t offer a lot outside of running restaurants, but it does that extremely well and can be a great deal of fun. Don’t expect much outside of that, but the way it incorporates content from the original game and other expansions, it truly adds dimensions to business ownership, and a great new element to the game overall.

Sims 4 Dine out has so much potential, it offers so much for a game pack and is quite fun to play with. However, there are many glitches which can make the game unplayable at times. Also , the time it takes to serve and receive dishes is too long and unrealistic. 7 hours is too long! Also, due to the glitches its hard to make a profit. Without the glitches this pack could be exceptional.

This pack is completely a money grabbing, it has a lot of bugs and it’s barely playable. And why is this a specific pack. Shouldn’t this be part of Get to Work EP. Well that’s why this EP lacks so much in contant, all seperated in different packs, so for more money for EA!!

Some of the "mixed" or positive reviews have to be from EA. Not only is there next to nothing in this pack (10 signs for your restaurant, oh please don't be so generous), you could have built the restaurants yourself with just a few objects in the original game.
It's basically skinned retail stores: You hire staff, open the restaurant, and mindlessly watch your staff bumble and glitch around for 14 hours - and then discover you've made $300 in that entire time. Minus expenses.
Charging $17.99 for this stuff is criminal. A good programmer could whip this up in no time. It's Diner Dash without any of the fun because all you're doing is watching your staff bumble around and talk on their phones. That's the last pack I buy. Once the free part of the game is done, it's a waste of money to buy anything else.
And EA is still selling this stuff at full price with a straight face. This is an 18 year-old game. Do you really think I'm paying $35.99 for expansions that just skin things that should have been in the original game anyway?

Major aspects of this expansion pack are fundamentally broken, some very severe bugs that have persisted without any bug fixes by EA that not only can wipe out significant amount of time but can even wipe out lots too.
Stemming from trying to change your staff clothing, which often bugs completely resetting the entire lot or worse, borderline unplayable.
