  • Summary: The Tale of Bistun is a story-driven action-adventure game inspired by the famous Persian tragic romance “Khosrow and Shirin”. A stone carver with no memory of who he is must traverse blighted lands to discover his identity and the source of a pleading, strangely familiar whisper.

    The Tale of Bistun is not perfect, but it is original. The romantic story with masterfully incorporated symbolism and plot twists along with the exotic art style makes the game a sensational experience; it is short and does not overstay its welcome as well.

    The Tale of Bistun is surprising in several different ways. The story is intriguing not only because it's from a place we don't see much of but also because literature is rarely been done in games at all. The game's length is short but welcome, as a lengthier game would stretch out the repetitive combat a touch too much. For adventure gamers who want something narratively different and don't mind it being something that can be knocked out in an afternoon, The Tale of Bistun is worth a look.

    The Tale of Bistun has an engaging narrative and even stronger ties to Persian mythology and storytelling. Few games are so thoroughly respectful of their source material and culture. As a game, The Tale of Bistun has acceptable but very limited mechanics and a structure that’s a bit repetitive. Still, at only three hours of playtime, it isn’t a huge investment and worth it for the unique window into little known mythology.

    I'm as an Iranian person, proud of black cube games guys to made an amazing game based on history of Iran which is adapted from one of theI'm as an Iranian person, proud of black cube games guys to made an amazing game based on history of Iran which is adapted from one of the most inspirational tale from NEZAMI because the narration of game looks awesome.
    Other aspects of tale of bistun such as game play and visual arts are really perfect and brought me some great sense of satisfaction.

    منم تمامش کردم و تعجب من از اینه که کلی ایراد داره مخصوصا ایراد فنی بازی بارها و بارها کرش کرد و زد بیرون از بازی تعجب میکنم حتی با وجود سلاحمنم تمامش کردم و تعجب من از اینه که کلی ایراد داره مخصوصا ایراد فنی بازی بارها و بارها کرش کرد و زد بیرون از بازی تعجب میکنم حتی با وجود سلاح های مثلا متنوع چرا از دیپد ها هیچ استفاده این برای تعویض سلاح نشده و کلا دیپد تو بازی کاری نمیکنه خیلی زود هم بازی تو یه لوپ تکرار مکررات میوفته و زود خسته کننده میشه از نظر گیم پلی هم ن درخت مهارتی و ن اپگریدی و ن هیچی فقط راه میزی و یه عدده انمی میزنی و صنگ ها رو خورد میکنی ارزش تکرار هم که صفر خیلی بازی ضعیفیه از نظر گرافیک بصری بدک نیست موسیقی خوبی داره و تعجب بعدی اینه که چرا زبان ها تو بازی زبان فارسی داره ولی فقط متن های فارسی میشن و راوی همچنان انگلیسی حرف میزنه و ترجمه فارسیش رو هم که انگار دادن گوگل ترملیت انجام داده کلماتی مثل همه تخمه و کلی کلمه عجیب دیگه تو ترجمه فارسیش چیکار میکنن نمیدونم بازی کلی جای کار داره میشه گفت دوباره با یه بازی ضعیف ایرانی دیگه طرفیم… Expand
