The Witcher 3 is a game I judge with my heart, not with my brain. And my heart says Blood and Wine deserves the highest rating. [07/2016, p.46]

A living, breathing, Cezanne that will not hesitate to cover itself in blood, wink bitterly at you as it runs deeper down the rabbit hole and whose propensity to stun, mesmerize and redefine everything you thought you knew about the concept of “expansion packs”, will have a lasting impact upon the video game industry. Unforgettable.

An exquisite conclusion to a legendary saga, Blood and Wine concludes in a high note the notable efforts of CD Projekt RED and brings some of Sapkowski's most endearing characters to life.

Blood and Wine is a gripping murder mystery set in a picturesque new locale, and a fitting end to the story of Geralt of Rivia.

The Witcher 3: Blood & Wine is an exceptional expansion that reignites a sense of wonder even for players who have put in hundreds of hours so far. The breadth and variety of all that’s included stands stronger than many full-priced sequels. As a twenty-dollar add-on, it’s absolutely worthwhile.

The Witcher 3 was already an incredible title to begin with, and with Blood and Wine it becomes even better. The new region of Toussaint does not simply bring us more of what made the original game so great, it expands on it and offers an environment and a plot line that - in some areas - exceeds that of the main entry.

Geralt deserves to be called a legend, of course, not least because he stars in one of the greatest role-playing games ever made. Perhaps we will join him in yet another adventure, but if Blood and Wine is the White Wolf’s final interactive appearance, he at least departs in style.

А насчет самого дополнения то скажу что оно прекрасное, жаль конечно было расставаться с героями, но закончили красиво. Спасибо вам рэди за столь прекрасную серию игр. Expand

The land of Touissaint is absolutely packed to the brim with content and collectibles. The main story is about Vampires, and is also engaging. The new characters are just as engaging as the old ones ever were. If you get the chance to pick this bad boy up, take it. Expand

I think Witcher 3 isI believe that GameSpot said that Witcher 3 is possibly the best role-playing video game ever. I am inclined to agree. I think Witcher 3 is possibly the best combination of game and story that I've ever played. I just want to add that I disagree specifically with GameSpot's Blood and Wine opinion that the main characters in this expansion aren't "that interesting".

GameSpot editorializes that the new characters can't match "Yennefer’s lusty spark or The Bloody Baron’s brutal sorrow." I just completely disagree with that analysis. On the contrary, I found the new characters very deep, and I think that their relationship with Geralt grew and changed over the course of the story, often based on my choices during the story. I don't want to add spoilers here, but I just want to rebut the notion that somehow the Blood and Wine add-on doesn't add new and interesting people into Geralt's life.

I believe that Blood and Wine is a 9+ add-on, and is well worth the expense.

This isn t DLC. It is normal game. I have 25 hour and i didnt still finish main quest. Story is really good, maybe better then in main gameThis isn t DLC. It is normal game. I have 25 hour and i didnt still finish main quest. Story is really good, maybe better then in main game and 1st big DLC. New ithems, quests, monsters, old friends from older Witcher lore etc. Fairy environment like France or Italy, heroic knights, honor, lovely girls in trouble etc. We get new logical inventory and game runs better then main game in my opinion. And the price? If it cost 40 euro, i still buy it. And bonus in the form of physical cards Gwint and i still payid only 25 euro.

These guys definitely earned their money. One last beautiful adventure for our beloved monster slayer. The setting is compelling, the NPCs are endearing and Geralt is in better shape than ever. We will miss you witcher!
Looking forward to Cyberpunk or whatever other game the CD Projekt team will develop next.

....and all you do is running like an idiot from stable to stable, killing monsters and earning XP....just for the sake of it. The way I see it, this game series is like the Justin Bieber phenomenon in gaming industry where quantity triumphs over quality. Everyone likes and praises it although it is crap....
