The authenticity and the survival, central to the experience, accentuate the urgency of the situations and this oppressive feeling of being the prey, and no longer the hunter, on Auroa.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint looks like a different game on PC thanks to higher resolution, nicer visual effects and the chance to get a 60 fps gameplay that dramatically improves the overall experience.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a decent open world, full of the bad ghosts of the Ghost Recon past.

Ubisoft clearly wanted to make Breakpoint a mix between The Division and Destiny, but it doesn't really work if you look at the work as a whole. Dusty community hub breaking immersion, idiot AI, bugs of all kinds despite the beta, microtransaction system a little bit abusive, terrible driving vehicles system, tactics non-existent in solo.... However, the game also has some good aspects, especially with its brilliant main actor, its fun multiplayer Ghost War mode and many cooperative possibilities due to the realistic and complete equipment. Definitely Ghost Recon Breakpoint is not a bad game, but it is not what you would call a good game either.

Breakpoint offers initial fun following Ubisoft's open-world structure as gospel, but a lack of variety and conflicting pieces leave it devoid of personality.

Compared to its predecessor, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint offers mainly more possibilities for creating fun and exciting momens with friends. The flaws and bugs are offset by Ubisoft’s promise to continuously deliver new content for Breakpoint over the next few years. The French company has demonstrated with Rainbow Six Siege and Ghost Recon: Wildlands that they are committed to supporting their games for a long time, so there is a good chance that Breakpoint can play a lot better on your own in a year.

Poorly stapled-on mechanics and a general lack of polish make Breakpoint's open-world tactics simply not worth the time.

Best game ever. Ubisoft is the best, finally did an awesome job. Haven't donated any cent, and played for like 70+ hours.

I am not looking for an amazing story when I play video games so this has an OK story, maybe a step down from the Wildlands (I din not finish it one because I switched to Breakpoint) but it compensates with a lot of other things I personally appreciate in video games. Story mission can frustrate some but I enjoy exploring the vast island of Aurora. I have never seen a game which does so much to accommodate different play style and skill level, you can even change to different game genre. Expand

My run through the game was with one other person, and together, we really did have to plan and coordinate in order to successfully complete missions. We got to explore the entire huge island together, which took plenty of time on its own, and then aside from that got to experience the campaign together and theorize about where the plot was going. There are some issues with bugs and online connection, but that hasn't been a huge issue for me at all. I had to redo maybe three small sections of missions in totoals due to bugs, which was lame, but nothing detrimental to how the game overall. With some minor tweaks, this could be a great game.

I will say the story is nothing to go crazy about, but it certainly isn't boring. You really do feel like your missions are purposeful, even though they're technically all the exact same tasks at different locations. There are plenty of collectibles and little things to look into for people who really are deeply interested in the story. For everybody else, there's so much exploring and upgrading to do to last you weeks.

For the bugs within the game, I've really seen nothing major. I haven't fallen through the map, my game hasn't crashed, and I've never lost game progress. The only real bug issue I've had in being unable to find or pick up intel, or the issue of reching a checkpoint that does register, meaning you can't progress. The few times it happened, I reset and it took less than ten minutes to get back to where I was.

The online connection is bad. I don't play the online so it personally doesn't bother me, but it just doesn't work well sadly.

Bug and server connection need to be top priority for Ubisoft, but after that, they do have a really good game on their hands.

This is what you get when you build a microtransaction store and build a game around it as advertisement: A game build to cater to all Ubi players. It has elements from Assassins Creed, Far Cry, The Division and Wildlands, yet doesn't do any of it right. It doesn't meet up to the quality standards of Wildlands, the animations are mediocre (except for the main villain, that's where the entire budget went) and the gameplay is meh. The UI is overloaded with animations and is so difficult to navigate it's frustrating.
My advice: Stick with Wildlands until you can get this for max 10-20 bucks.

Let me say right away, I hate the premise of these kind of games; always online, full of micro transactions and pay to win. There is however, a certain charm to the combat which makes this one JUST about tolerable.

Ubisoft have promised to continue to support the game through live service updates but this isn't a business practice I am fond of. People expect to receive a fully finished product when they part with their money not some early access/kick starter tosh.

Out of principle, do not buy this game. We need to vote with our wallets to tell companies like Ubisoft (who used to make actual games) their business model is one which is as appealing as a turd flavored sandwich.

The story is almost nonexistent and what exists is very boring, the are TWO characters in this story, TWO, and one of them is you. The bugs are unbelievable, you fall off the map, the physic in this game is AWFUL, looks like a PS2 game, AI looks like something from Oblivion, enemies get trapped in objects, spawn in front of you, they also teleport. They didn't even bother to make different models for enemies, I think they only have THREE models for enemies. You will see the same enemy with the same face 300 times in the game, even Goldeneye 64 has more models than this sixty-dollar game. Microtransactions are aggressive, with lootboxes, in-game currency, blocked content. Literally everything I hate about a video game exists in this game, DON'T BUY THIS GARBAGE! Expand
