So what is Tom Clancy's The Division? Addictive action RPG in a beautiful coat that grabs you and doesn´t let go. [Issue#263]

An immensely thrilling action-MMO hybrid, but good for 30 hours rather than the hoped-for 300. [May 2016, p.70]

This game that could've gone so wrong, so easily, is already off to a great start with more content both free and paid set to come over the next year.

The Division is a very good game. Mixing singleplayer and multiplayer in a splendid New York setting, the map offers plenty of content and the Dark zone is a really nice PVP/PVE place to play. The gameplay is simple, the AI is far from good, but the entire experience is a must.

I may wish a plague of locusts on Ubisoft support, but I tip my hat to the masters over at Massive Entertainment.

I don’t think it’s very good, especially if you’ve a mind to play by yourself. It’s certainly addictive, and it certainly has plenty of stuff for you to do. That goes doubly for people who plan to roll with a squad of friends. As in Borderlands, the general tedium of loot-grinding is more fun when you’ve got people to chat with. If you’re looking for a mindless way to kill a few days/weeks, The Division exists...But don’t expect to remember much of it when it’s over.

I sincerely dislike all copy-paste-and-boring assasins creed incarnation, far cry (ecxept the first and the third one which was kinda fun because of the story and atmosphere).

Despite my opinion about ubi I honestly think that The Division is a very enjoyable game with fun mechanics, beautiful graphics (despite the downgrade) set in an amazing open world with phenomenal atmosphere (I have to admit that I love post-apo). I played 11 hours so far earning 10th level (and also 10th dark zone rank). I did both solo and group and had a blast! I loved the rpg mechanics, the gun feel, sounds, destroyable surroundings (try shoting bricks, windows, display elements, wood, etc.) Met few nice gamers today and we rocked the dark zone killing rouge agents, mobs, extracting loot, doing few campaign missons.

All in all the game is very good. It's not perfect (the story is ok but nothing more) and definitely is much more fun with a group of friends (although it's very easy to meet people in the game) but it's a solid 8.5/10. See you in dz.

The game is a well optimized technical marvel with beautiful environmental design and an engaging grind, albeit one that would likely be less satisfying without the stellar open world to back it up. It's not perfect, but The Division is well worth playing. Expand

Where is suffers is to remain competitive you have to go into PVP in "the dark zone" where it's a griefers paradise. And when the Rogue types kill you it's bye bye to experience, money and keys. If the game had a pve version of the dark zone this would be a 9 or 10 game. As it is, I'd recommend you pass on it. Expand

The weapons sounds like toy guns, the whole gameplay is just not fun and the buildings look boring and the whole scenario looks repetitive. Overrated as always, another dissapointment that was acclaimed by the so called "professional reviewers". Probably they just don't care about game quality anymore, they just recycled aspects from other 3rd person shooters, nothing new nothing fresh.
