this is my favorite game of all time, no exaggeration. it's its own genre. its amazing. ITS FREE. and it kicks some serious ass.
my only complaint is that it is really difficult when your first learning how its done. but the amount of fun you have afterwards more then makes up for it.

My god... is this the perfect PC game? Possibly. The physics are so realistic (if not a bit light, but you can always change the gravity in game rules), so many customisations, and there's an unlimited amount of moves to master. And it's free. Phew! That was a mouthful and a half.

Great physics and blood effects give fights more depth and oomph than many arcade beat-em-ups, but tutorials and more options are needed to enhance its gut-kicking goodness. [Mar 2007, p.65]

Great physics; the best PC fighting game since "Rag Doll Kung Fu." [Christmas 2006, p.90]
  3. PC Format
Just when ragdoll was becoming an irritant for gaming, Toribash swoops in to demonstrate why it's the best thing since shaded pixels. [Mar 2007, p.78]
