For the first time in railroad simulation, play as both the driver and company director!

Take the controls of your train and travel across Europe with passengers and merchandise. In the Early Access version, drive through Germany, riding in the cab of several different locomotives. Each of these locomotives has its unique characteristics (power, braking, etc.) that you need to fully master to be as effective as possible. Take your passengers through astonishingly beautiful lands, including both town and country, forest and mountains.

You not only have to drive the trains, but you also have to grow your company by optimizing your Passenger and Freight activities. Choose a name, a logo, purchase locomotives, and hire drivers, giving them new contracts and exploring new tracks. You must also maintain your locomotives to prevent breakdowns and handle emergency repairs. You are free to accept or refuse contracts: make the right choices, earn money and develop your company!

With Train Life: A Railway Simulator, sim railroad enthusiasts have another way to get their railroad fix. With its emphasis equally on the driving and economic aspects of running a railroad, Train Life: A Railway Simulator has a little more depth than those games that focus more on the locomotives and rolling stock. It’s also a Eurocentric sim, so American gamers wanting to drive a speeding Amtrak train over the Rockies are out of luck. Train Life: A Railway Simulator might be built for a specific audience, but general sim enthusiasts might give it try as well.

Not bad per se, Train Life is a good concept with a lot of trains but also, ironically, with little life.

Train life- A railway simulator is a beautiful game as well with all the scenery as players pass by. The trains offer a lot of detail from both the inside as well as the outside and I found myself being pulled further into the simulation as I passed by signs telling me I was going too fast or during moments when I realized that the train needed some fuel. This is definitely a fun game for those looking to get into the genre but is also good for those who have a lot of experience in the genre.
