   Best Tropico in the series. Love the archipelagos, even if it makes it tough to grow quickly.

   Jogo ótimo tem quase tudo que eu queria em um jogo citybuiding. vc controla um país no caribe sendo o presidente ou ditador dele.    Прекрасная музыка, красивый тропический остров, вариативность путей развития и многое другое.
   Возможно, отчасти это так же является и главной проблемой этой игры. Каждая новая часть приносит минимум изменений, и практически не добавляет нового контента.… Expand

   Mostly enjoyable but as I progressed to later mission such as referendum and superpower defence, I found the game impossible. Seemingly every 5 minutes a fire would break out and destroy some important building such as a power station or factory. Sometimes I would get a message saying a fire had broken out but when I looked at the map there was no obvious fire. All this in spite of having a firs station with a helicopter. So I often ended up building even more fire stations ...wasting money and still fires every 5 minutes....ARGGGGGHHHHH! Stupid annoying fires. Who ever thought that this would make a game fun? I am not a new player I have played every Tropico version but there are some really annoying bugs with Tropico 6. Another annoying feature is that the campaigne is not logical just a series of seemingly random maps that have little resemblance to one another. You can succeed very well on one map and then the next one is so different and impossible that it bears no similarity to anything before. A logical campaign that takes the player through step by step missions instead of random unrelated missions would have been welcome. HINT: delete the fires from the next version of Tropico. Superannoying.… Expand

   Its Tropico 5 with bridges and a menu option to increase population caps... instead of changing it from the config file... in other words, itsIts Tropico 5 with bridges and a menu option to increase population caps... instead of changing it from the config file... in other words, its the same game as 5. There are no new game play mechanics and anyone saying otherwise is lying out the wazoo. They are just the same old mechanics reshuffled and given a new skin and name while pretending that they are new. Its still a fun game and I suppose if the prices are the same you should get the newer game but if you already own 5 there is no reason to buy 6.
   
   I completed the first 6 scenarios before getting bored and trying a sandbox game. It ended when I realized that tourism is (still) broken. Namely, despite having a population cap of 10,000, tourism has some sort of soft cap and will not rise above 300ish no matter what I do (same problem with old games). Kind of takes away from building a "resort island" idea since there is little else to do with the islands.
   
   Here is a list of the supposed new "mechanics" as listed on their website:
   
   ISLANDS - are mundane and adds nothing to the game. They are not a new mechanic unless you count adding a bridge and tunnel to the game as something incredible... how are they different than streets on a single island? They arent.
   
   BROKER - replaced the old way of earning sludge fund money. All you do is complete inane quests for him similar to the old quests you got from other countries and earn sludge fund money. This is not an improvement nor worth mentioning. you then use the sludge fund money to buy various things you dont need.... The broker is useless.
   
   RAIDS - are no different than old days but can be more frequent due to world wars. They land on your island, you annihilate them easily with just a couple of buildings and a tower. The added frequency did not add anything to the game. Rebel raids, on the other hand, are bugged and impossible to stop. They bypass towers and defenses entirely and set fires at will, then they simply disappear. Its obviously bugged but even if it worked, its just the same old mechanic. They are not a huge problem because its very easy to maintain very high happiness in the game.
   
   BLUEPRINTS - are lazy and meaningless. Basically you bring up the building meny and click to buy a blueprint... after you do the building is unlocked. Its just a cash dump barrier and adds nothing to the game especially since its so easy to make cash.… Expand

   This game is pathetic no matter what you do you start out ok but the more you build the worse it gets. you never make enough money to coverThis game is pathetic no matter what you do you start out ok but the more you build the worse it gets. you never make enough money to cover expenses you end up reducing their budget which makes the people unhappy than they rebel against you you never seem to make enough money from trades or freight and eventually you get hit with a domino effect and end up in the red -50k. 90% of the game your just sitting there doing nothing waiting to get more money which you never get!… Expand
