LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 4, 2016A must-have for building-strategy fans offers - despite of seeming lack of content - dozens of hours of entertainment. And there are Vikings! [Issue #259]

Dec 1, 2015If you like management games, Valhalla Hills is a great choice that is fun and engaging. It is not the most complex one, but definitely worth your time.
-
Dec 2, 2015The game fails to deliver too much in the way of story, and the graphics are a little limited, but the core building and optimization mechanics are captivating and give gamers plenty of interesting ways to tweak the layout of buildings and the paths that characters use.
-
Dec 11, 2015It shows off some interesting features which could have made Valhalla Hills truly unique, but when it comes to variety, depth and diversity, it fails to impress.
-
Dec 1, 2015How does Valhalla Hills look in comparison with famous Settlers franchise? The developers have failed in some areas, and succeeded in others. Fortunately, completing new maps and goals is very pleasant - every fan of colorful strategy games based on economy should consider this game. If not now maybe after some discounts?
-
Jan 26, 2016While I adored its striking visuals, and its core resource and city management was engrossing, the repetitive nature of the start and end game deprives Valhalla Hills of much variety, leaving it as a straight-forward, slightly casual, management sim to pass the time for a few days, but never does enough to be memorable.
-
Feb 4, 2016With the procedurally generated maps there’s plenty of replay value and there’s something rather rewarding helping you tribe earn the stripes and conquer each level. However the issues with crashes on the low-end of the graphical scale are a concern especially as this will be a tempting game for those who game on the go.
