"Had Reforged been an optional and free graphical update, undersold and understated and a gift to fans, I doubt there would be any backlash. Instead, Blizzard suggested a revolutionary re-imagining of one of gaming’s most popular titles and failed spectacularly to deliver it. Warcraft III: Reforged does not diminish the core experience that made the game great, but its relatively modest improvements are coupled with some missing features and technical issues that make it a disappointment." ... Music is improved, visuals, cinematics, etc. This is exactly what I expected and it was delivered.

On the 3rd missions in the campaign and already addicted just as I was when the game originally released. You know you have another gem when you can't turn off the game even after mythic/LFR Ny'alotha come out on the same day! Way to go Blizz!!!! Now all we can hope for is Warcraft 4 and a great new storyline. I CANNOT wait to get to the frozen throne expansion already!!!!! Almost 70 missions of single player content and can't wait to try some multiplayer after I'm done with the campaign. This is awesome. NO ONE does RTS like Blizzard.… Expand

Warcraft 3 was the first strategy game that I have ever played. Its handcrafted campaign inspired my future love for the genre. However,Warcraft 3 was the first strategy game that I have ever played. I can’t tell you how excited I was to see this being remade! This game was my childhood and to see it come back with a modern touch made meI can’t tell you how excited I was to see this being remade! This game was my childhood and to see it come back with a modern touch made me even more excited. Watching the new and improved cutscenes had me in awe, that we’d be able to see a more dynamic angle to this beloved classic. However BLIZZARD decided to actually lie about the game they redid (they still have their unfulfilled promises on the Warcraft III: Reforged website) Never have I seen a classic tarnished by their own company like this. The game is — more or less — a copy and paste of the original, just with new model designs. The UI wasn’t touched up, which they promised would be fixed, the cutscenes were still the same as they were back in 2002, with maybe better sound design. I got my refund thankfully because I will not pay $30 to play a game from 17 years ago with only better graphics to its name. If they want me to buy WARCRAFT III: REFORGED, they need to give fans what they saw at BlizzCon 2018. Please do the right thing here Blizzard Entertainment. Please fix this. I’ll happily wait if that means this is done right.… Expand
