Watch Dogs 2 looks absolutely gorgeous on PC. The game offers a rich sandbox, with plenty of fun missions, things to do and places to see.

Over the top hacking action combined with open world exploration, but with a social conscience and a very welcome sense of humor. [Issue#258, p.60]

Unlike the first game where multiplayer was kind of a mess, the sequel offers a pretty solid multiplayer experience. Playing Watch Dogs 2 co-op is definitely a blast, especially if you're experiencing the game with a friend.

Ubisoft once again fails to tell an engaging story, instead mixing a somewhat confused, even boring plot with bland characters. While Watch Dogs 2 is near-perfect PC port with lots of PC-specific options both for graphics as well as controls, the underlying game wastes a lot of potential. The beautiful rendition of San Francisco is a great background for some neat hacking tricks and fun missions, yet, aside from the shift in tone, Watch Dogs 2 isn’t the anticipated step forward for the series.

Watch_Dogs 2 is definitely a good game, especially compared to the first one which was a dull game. It’s got a lot of personality, especially in terms of the cast of characters, and humour is always welcome in open world titles. The missions may generally boil down to “go somewhere, sneak past/shoot guards, hack something, get out” but they cover fun subjects and are never less than entertaining. Nevertheless the online side is aggravating as all hell, the controls aren’t quite receptive enough particularly when driving or shooting, and being able to kill loads of people doesn’t really jive with the DedSec ethos.

Ubisoft Montreal almost made a GTA of their own. On the second try. For those who think that "funny" public group in social networks are actually funny. If you do not subscribe to the idea that you have to entertain yourself rather than be entertained in a video game, better stay in Los Santos.

For the second time the unfulfilled potential of an unconventional material. The very idea is grasped greatly, but that's all and the game itself is very sad story – again. [Issue #269]

First off the game is way better than the Original with a more exciting story and a prettier World to Explore.
with ability to hack vehicles, computers, street lights and anything with a chip in it, makes the possibilities endless. This game works best when you use stealth and not play this like GTA Guns blazing kill everyone. instead use tools your given and feel good when you Succeed in mission.
As good as this game is , I have found 2 frustrating issues... the first is the area you must go to meet someone has the diameter of about 3 meters...meaning you must be exactly in the box which unlike GTA Does not give you a visible circle to see...just how far away you are. Sometimes cars are parked where you need to be too. Another minor gripe is items in world feel they are made of paper. for instance driving 5 mph and hitting a light pole , destroys it instantly. I feel they could have put more weight on objects. But besides those two items this is a great game. Great story great gameplay Great Fun.

Watch Dogs 2 is set in SanWatch Dogs 2 is a pretty good game, that is dragged down by various flaws. First, the bright side of the game. Watch Dogs 2 is set in San Francisco, sun-bathed coastal city, tech innovation center. While discovering the city, you'll stumble upon real life locations, such as Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz or Lombard Street. Because most of the map is urban area, you will parkour your way through the city. Parkour moves are well done and feel real. Hacking is done simply enough for everybody to understand, but also can be very challenging. Main characters are written very well, throughout the game, you create some sort of a bond woth them. Story is amazing and you really hope, that everything will work out well for our heroes. Game is full of little details, for example, if Marcus is wearing long shirt, or hoodie, lower end of it moves as Marcus walks.
Unfortunately, Watch Dogs 2 has some big flaws, that are dragging the game down. Let's start with driving. Driving in this game is very bad, arcade style and you cant customize your cars much. Next on the list is shooting and guns. Watch Dogs 2 is trying to be like a hacking GTA, but since the game is meant to be stealth orientated, you cant actually go guns blazing. Still, the game is giving you a handful of guns to choose from, but only two of about 25 guns are silenced, which gives very little space for decision. Sounds of guns and way, that guns work are really arcade-like and poor. What i think is the biggest flaw of the game, are the missions. Until about half of the game, you have many side missions to pick, but from the half of the game I have no side missions to complete, so my only option was to rush main mission, because i couldn't do anything else. Some side missions are presented to you through your hacker group DedSec, some can be found throughout the world. No matter what you do, it seems like after you are past half of the game, you have no side missions. Thanks to that, you will complete the game rather quickly.
After all, it's better game than Watch Dogs 1, but still can be improved a little.

The game looks great and is well-optimized, though compared to the piss-poor technical state most AAA games now are released in, that's not saying too much.
The stealth and hacking gameplay is much improved from the first one. There is a bit too much reliance on the buggy and copter, and their inclusion has had a negative effect on level design, but it allows for more freedom to pick your playstyle, at least on most missions.
Some of said missions are quite fun too. Along the main story Ubisoft eschewed the usual mission tropes like the race, the forced stealth, the timed mission etc and allowed you to approach them more indrectly, something that greatly helps immersion and keeps you from the "going through the motions" feeling you ofetn get with gta-clones.
Unfortunately, the difficulty of said missions is all over the place. Some are so easy to one-shot they don't even feel like a challenge, while some had me resetting from checkpoint upward of 20 times. Neither is inherently bad, but the inconsistency is jarring. The most common reason for the spikes is an over-abundance of guards, making sneaking almost impossible.
This is a problem because the combat in general and the gunplay particularly is absolute trash. All weapons from pistols to sniper rifles feel grossly underpowered. There is no feedback from enemies when hit, and when you meet heavy guards toward the end of the game, they can tank 7-8 headshots from a shotgun at close range before going down, not even stopping their own gunfire meanwhile.
The writing in the first game was bad because of its dour tone clashing with the content. But at least you could imagine Aiden Pierce as someone capable of killing his way through an army to get to where he wanted. Marcus is protrayed as always upbeat, wise-carcking, meme-spouting good guy looking out for the people, so when he goes on a rampage, everything just feels off.
The other characters go grossly underdeveloped and thus descend into caricatures. Not a single time could I even imagine how they grew up, what they had gone through or who they even were. Out of the central cast you only learn any background about 2 of the characters, one of which is introduced later in the game and the other is killed off.
The series still has a way to go to be good. As it is, Watch Dogs 2 improves on the first game in some ways, but takes some steps back in others. The series needs to find a narrower gameplay focus or get lost in the mediocrity it is in now.
