Battle for Azeroth it's a huge and entertaining expansion, which relies on combat, PvE, PvP, and character development. However, the best is yet to come.

Even if its new loot system is a bust, Battle for Azeroth is a vibrant expansion full of wondrous new locales to explore, characters to meet, and stories to tell.

More than anything, I love the look of the new zones and the personalities of the new races. Zandalar and Kul Tiras are more fun to run and around than the Broken Isles.

Battle of Azeroth isn’t as good as Legion was. But the Horde vs Alliance conflict is stronger than ever, and being part of this big conflict is pure fun. Veterans will enjoy HL content and how the lore is constantly used.

Battle for Azeroth, despite the endless grind, has been an exciting expansion this far. However, raids and additional content are what makes the game great. Blizzard has made the entry level into the new expansion welcoming for new players and some die-hard critics have shared their concerns with the current direction Blizzard are going with making the gaming “easier.”

Ultimately Battle for Azeroth is a worthy if somewhat less ambitious successor to 2016’s Legion. the diverse new zones and more intimate storytelling alone make Battle for Azeroth an adventure worth diving into.

Unless Blizzard has some real story shake-ups and a phenomenally tuned raid on the horizon, I’m honestly expecting the sharpest player decrease to set in within the next few months. The expansion itself has some interesting ideas, but sticking to a World Quest grindfest is quickly becoming the norm, and the Island Expeditions aren’t exactly exciting.

8.1 and 8.2 was really fun, it had its issues but still I had fun playing it.

8.0 content wise was also S tier, but the new borrowed power systems were pretty poorly done so yeah, progressing was not pleasant, this was fixed in 8.1. Unfortunately 8.0 class design was outright ridiculous because the removal of the artifact weapons meant a lot of classes lose about 40-60% of their spells/mechanics and ofc these were somewhat replaced by azerite system and class changes but still it was pitiful compared to legion's class design. 8.2 and 8.3 used bandaid generic effects (essences, corruption) to help the issue and performance wise they did succeed but class design remained lackluster for the whole duration of the expansion.

8.3 content wise was again nice, but the loot changes like the removal of titanforge or the idea that really only raids drop viable gear for all content is idiotic and made this patch largely raid or die so I just cba playing it after a while. Also while corruption was fun for the first few weeks it was just stupid how much dmg some of them did. (mind you corruptions were random effects with no way to work towards a specific one, vendor was added later when it was already anyway).
Overall however if we summarize all patches, BfA was a nice expansion and the base content(maps, story, art/music) were fun if to play through.

Saurfang is a pity crying girl. War mode doesn't work properly because many players of alliance just turn it off. PvP expansion without world PvP - lol. And grinding, yeah. We had to grind artifact power again. I was full of it in Legion, and I have to do it again. Expand

I want to like it because it's a game that I've played since Vanilla, but it really does feel like Blizzard has changed the game just enough to keep me subbed through keeping me one small step above dissatisfied all the time.

I'm a filthy casual and found there to be so much fun content and game-play in Legion for me; BFA is a huge let down, as is the cynical way that Blizz has started to treat its customers.
