While WRC 10 will not become a timeless classic due to some flaws, it has everything rally fans need, including a satisfying driving model and stellar design of special stages. [12/2021, p.72]

It's a big yes and a very beautiful candle blown out by Kylotonn. If it does not upset the regulars, WRC 10 manages to advance all of its game modes with small nice touches, such as tire allocation management, new career roles or the livery editor. . Anniversary Mode galvanizes content and lifespan via new, delightfully old-school layouts, to make the title the most complete in the license. We take real pleasure in terms of racing sensations and a total change of scenery on some specials, despite the recurring lack of staging and some technical flaws (tearing, cliping ...). But that is not the important thing: WRC 10 ends a decade at the top of the slope masterfully climbed by Kylotonn in recent seasons, and we hope that the French studio will succeed in closing its commitment to the world rally championship in the best possible way next season.

WRC 10 is an extremely fun game with a few caveats around the amount of changed content from last year's entry. It's not a must-buy for those who own WRC 9 unless they are a rally fan desperate for the new stages for the 2021 season or the updated liveries, as the anniversary additions are the only major update from last year. However, whose who don't own WRC 9 but who are interested in rally racing will see this as the most comprehensive official WRC game to date, with lots to enjoy and plenty of hours' worth of entertainment to be found across its various modes.

WRC 10's precise controls and detailed graphics wonderfully replicate rally racing, though graphical hiccups occasionally sour the experience.

WRC 10 is not a bad installment in the series, with its fair share of welcome novelties. The 50th anniversary mode finally allows you to take advantage of the discipline's old glories, and while we would have liked it to have been more fleshed out, it still makes an act of presence. The stable manager mode is also welcome, although it is still not understood why you have to end the previously mentioned mode in order to be able to access it. Undoubtedly the most striking feature is of course the arrival of the choice of tire allocation for the rally, which adds a good layer of strategy in certain events including the Monte-Carlo. Unfortunately, we feel that COVID has had its work, whether it is the proposed rallies that are no longer really in line with the 2021 calendar, more technical aspects of the game that have not changed a bit. Do not forget either that the license will change creamery in 2023, from KT Racing / Nacon to Codemasters / EA. This WRC 10 is therefore the penultimate opus of the French studio which will still have had the merit of bringing the series out of the mediocrity in which it stagnated, during the time when Milestone was in charge (the Metacritic ratings are from 80% on average during the Evolution Studios era to 60% during the Milestone era)

The fact remains that it is once again one of those titles that once bought can easily remain installed all year round and that can be an excellent choice to be interspersed with other video games in those days when you wake up with a little of nostalgia for drifting in the mud of Chile or for the breathtaking jumps of the Rally of Finland for a bit of unpretentious fun even for those who do not have a cutting-edge driving position but want to have fun even only with the pad which, incidentally, performs quite well despite the Dualsense functions being only half exploited.

As a casual racing games fan I really enjoy this game.
Out of all the games I tried it played best with my wheel out of the box. A really enjoyable experience.
Honestly it made me not regret purchasing my budget wheel all those years ago.
The game runs nice, at around 90-100 fps on my medium-end PC.

The thing i really like about the game are the stages itself, they are very varied, from very tight, punishing twisty turns, to wide gravel tracks where drifting is super enjoyable and forgiving.
My favorite stage is probably in Kenya, where there are huge bumps into corners and then the track opens to a wide flat road and ends up in some easier corners.
A lot of tracks feature some buildings, fences, various rocks, obstacles and ditches and feel very well realized, realistic and at the end of the day fun.
The handling is also very enjoyable for me, but mileage may vary as I see people complaining about controllers.
Thing about this game, or I guess how I play it is that it is exhausting, I really cant play it for more than an hour or two, it is a much different experience than playing something like forza horizon.
It is tiring because of the pure chaos of rallying and I wish the career mode had something chill to do in between all the chaos.
Anyway I really like the game, I see a bunch of people posting negative reviews, while some have decent points, a lot of complaining seem to be because it is not like previous games, which I haven't played.

New rallies have been added but onlyIf I did not play WRC 9 for many hours and enjoyed it greatly I would not be so disappointed with WRC 10. New rallies have been added but only 2 stages (plus 2 reverse) which is kind of low. However even worse is that some stages on other rallies that were available in WRC 9 have been removed (i.e. Monte Carlo stage with mostly snow). Also I have experienced several bugs that I do not remember happen in WRC 9.... First, after being first in one of the rallies I have received no reward (cash) and RC with manufacturer went to negative. Also, few times after first checkpoint in some stages the timer shows that I am few minutes late despite driving almost perfectly. After restarting the stage it was normal... All in all, if you have WRC 9 do not waste your time and money on WRC 10 for now Expand

That meant the game was ruined and sadly, it'øs the same story with WRC 10. The game is not finished and needs a lot of patching but worst of all is the fact that you feel like you are trying to steer a Hovercraft and at no speed can you turn, adjust or do anything to your car. It either does nothing or spins around. Going at speed is impossible and you don't have anything close to a real life racing experience. Drive around in a car and you can feel it move, the weight, how fast you can go without under/oversteering.... None of this is possible in WRC 10. It's a joke. Expand
