Even though your memory is failing, you discover that you have the reflexes of a highly trained professional fighter.     XIII Remake could've been a nice way to relive a classic FPS tale, but it's filled with too many bugs, glitches and technical issues. Maybe with future patches it can overcome its problems but right now you're just better off playing the original instead: it's cheap and it's still the best way to experience XIII.

    One tiny step forward and three huge leaps backwards. Some minor modern improvements fail to mask the failures of this remake. If you want the best experience, the 2003 original is the definitive edition.

    This remake is more or less a disaster. Behind the crisp comic visuals mechanically almost nothing is left of what made this game a diamond in the rough back in the days.

    XIII makes a return as a remake of the 2003 original. It's a game that should have stayed in the past where it belonged. The bottom line is that this remake isn’t a very good experience.

    Gameplay is so cookie cutter and generic these days that the old games are the only way to get inovation and originality.. Really wish they had done better on this remake though, I liked the art and scenery, its just the bugs and broken sections that kills it.    … Expand

    The animations are terrible. The AI is incompetent. The physics engine feels similar to a Unity game. The    There is no defending this game.

    The animations are terrible. The AI is incompetent. The physics engine feels similar to a Unity game. The artwork is outshone by the predecessor that was made 17 years ago. This game feels completely unfinished: The Sound's don't line up correctly, the tutorial prompts don't have keybindings assigned, there are missing models and textured seen throughout. The Level Design is the only redeeming factor and that's just because they lifted it from the original game.

    This isn't coming from a fan of the original, I never had the chance to play it, but I can't even begin to imagine how disappointed the fans are to see a game they love be mutilated like this.

    I can't believe I spent £35 on this atrocity. Do not buy this game.    … Expand
