The real joy of Army Men RTS is the creativity of the game. The cut scenes are downright hilarious, and the movie spoofs are frequent.
At last 3DO has delivered a game that really capitalizes on the Army Men idea, the childhood dream of commanding living regiments of those little, green, plastic, violent buggers. [May 2002, p.100]
This is aimed at the younger player so don’t expect too much, but it remains a solid introduction to the genre that’s easy to get into and fun to play.
