It's pretty easy to get it right, but you do have to concentrate on every shot - this isn't "Everybody's Golf." [Issue 142, p.104]
The control method is an interesting take on the usual styles, and helps make things challenging, like real golf.
Very much a fictional golf game - like a cross between ["Tiger Woods"] and the superb "Mario Golf." It's fairly enjoyable, though, rather than the mix 'n match we expected. [Sept 2006, p.82]
Eagle Eye Golf has about as much style as Napoleon Dynamite, but at its core it's a very solid, albeit slightly too expensive, little game.
Eagle Eye Golf would be a decent game for 20 bucks. But at 30, when Hot Shots 3 and FORE! can be had at this moment for eight and 15 bucks respectively on EB.com, it's a tougher recommend.
If the presentation wasn't so ropey this might have been a contender, but as it is, Eagle Eye Golf is a bit of a cheap knock-off.
Surprisingly solid for the greater part, don’t get me wrong here. Unfortunately, it’s let down by a lack of any real challenge and fails to really inspire or capture the player in any way at all.
