The best rhythm game ever released. [Mar 2002, p.78]
  4. The sheer appeal and addictive quality of this title is unmistakable.
  5. Its easy-to-learn gameplay will hook you, and its attractive audiovisual package will reel you in.

While the graphics aren't especially mind-blowing, they complement the game's overall feel and make the unbelievable story that much more appealing.
  7. The music alone will draw you back for a few repeat plays, just don’t expect it to last much longer than a single rental period.

This game has the best original music I have ever heard in a video game. It also is very innovative, in the way that you use the left analog stick to "play" the gitaroo. Buy this now. Expand

Lots of variety in the music styles, but I believe this is it's weakness. While the songs are good, you will either love them or hate them. Personally I only really like a few of the songs, but the one that I did like were awesome the other, just felt more like a chore. The difficulty can be a bit brutal at times, but in no way impossible, so this does give it loads of replay value for perfectionists. Overall: An OK game with loads of character. Either you like it, or you don't. It's not for everyone. Expand
