JuanL.Sep 14, 2007Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core is a solid game with interesting new features to the series, but it does not have that many modes or that many things to do.

Accent Core is the latest of these, and it provides a fresh wave of balance tweaks, new mechanics, and two additional playable characters (ABA and Holy Order Sol). The changes are solid, but there isn’t anything that radically alters the landscape of the combat.
-
Accent Core is a proud representative of a terrific series. The character designs alone are worth the money, and luckily for us, everything else in the game is polished and virtually pristine.
-
The only real problem with Accent Core is its lack of originality - hence the 8 instead of a 9 - but it's still a fantastic fighting game with one of the deepest fighting systems ever seen and a cast of unique-but-balanced characters that will have you playing until your thumbs bleed.
