A little "Tony Hawk," a little "SF Rush 2049," and a lot of "Wipeout" mixed together perfectly to form one of the best racers in a while.
It’s a fast-paced, adrenaline rush kind of game, and it’s really quite difficult, but that should just mean it’ll keep you busy for a while.

Kinetica has done bold new things with track design and playability, as well as giving gamers the sugar rush of speed that racing game fans crave.
A graphically impressive, inventive racing title that is somewhat diminished by slightly erratic control and lack of depth. [Nov 2001, p.108]
A unique trick system combined with beautiful graphic design are enough to give it a whirl. Difficult is the key word.
There are fleeting moments when you’ll have absolutely no idea where you are or what just happened before eventually realizing that it’s impossible to really wipe out or "come off" the track. [Dec 2001, p.105]
Summary The fusion of human exoskeletons with "kinetic skins" to create a cycle you wear rather than drive is the concept behind Kinetica, a racer which requires you to perform a variety of tricks, stunts and combos to outpace the competition.
