Easily the cleverest game to emerge in some time and making your way through it's intricate innards is one of the most rewarding experiences the PS2 can currently offer. A slice of gaming heaven.
The highly detailed graphics convincingly portray both might and oppression with a realism that is awesome, encompassing huge caverns, fathomless pits and sudden dead ends.
As far as style of gameplay, think "ICO," but without the atmospherics. It's similarly puzzle-intensive, and takes the cooperative aspects of ICO's design to an entirely new level.
It's a massively built game but it seems more time was spent on creating the city than creating a driving story.
Proves to be yet another fine example shabby port of a decent PC title, that just falls apart when brought on to a console.
It is designed specifically for those who enjoy using their minds, and it will occasionally even frustrate the best of those players.
A leaden interface almost completely nullifies any enjoyment one might derive from this otherwise unique blend of action, adventure and puzzle elements.
