The fan service is simply through the roof! [June 2008, p.81]
  2. With some enjoyable mini games that give you the feel of each classic Sega franchise, Sega Superstars Tennis is a good pickup for old school Sega fans but there is only a very basic tennis game contained therein.
  3. With its extremely attractive environments and selection of great characters, Sega Superstars Tennis is definitely a fun time for those looking for an eccentric back-and-forth tennis game.

If you're looking for something to entertain the kids this Easter, wish to take a walk down Nostalgia Lane, or just want something decidedly refreshing to settle down to, you could do far worse than SEGA Superstars Tennis.
  5. The tennis is merely average, but the challenges and minigames in Sega Superstars Tennis are creatively done and a lot of fun.
  6. Superstars Tennis may as well be a dream for Sega fans, but hardly will win any converts.
  7. If you want to take a walk down the memory lane of video gaming and enjoy playing in short spurts, SEGA Superstars Tennis fits the bill. Otherwise, try before you buy.

This game is pretty good. It's really fun to play with your favorite SEGA characters. It has a lot of positive and some bad things.
The gameplay is very good and the framerate it's okay but could be better

The stages are beautiful with a lot of popular characters like GonGon but the problem is that the only things that changes between stages is de background and there aren't hazards or anything. But, they are pretty good and have cool art style.

There are characters from different SEGA IPs like Sonic, AiAi, Ulala, Amigo, etc. You have half of the roster when you start the game, that's pretty good because it's fun to unlock every character. The only problem is that some characters are more difficult to beat, for example, it was very difficult to beat Beat (Jet Set Radio) but very easy to beat AiAi (Super Monkey Ball). i liked that every character has a different play-style, like AiAi being SPIN type while NiGHTS is all-around.

There are 4 modes: Superstars, Normal Match, Tournament and Games. The principal mode, Superstars, it's very fun and has a lot of missions from different SEGA game universes, some of them aren't related to Tennis while others have cool ideas like playing Virtua Cop with a tennis racquet. There is just one problem: some IPs like Samba de Amigo have 2 or 3 missions while Sonic has 15!
The normal match mode is fun to play with friends with up to 4 players and the tournament mode is also fun, but games mode has a lot to offer like playing House of the Dead, killing zombies playing tennis is very fun and others like Super Monkey Ball are fun too. You can play with one friend.

Well, this game if very good and I would like to have another entry on the series
