  1. The simple fact is that even with the elemental tweaks and team attacks, this game is sorely average in terms of the challenges and ideas presented to players.
  2. Aside from being full of useless exposition about Rune Cannons and the various empires in these Island Nations, the story doesn't even make much sense.

It has a charm to it at first, but loses it quickly. Does not help that it is a spin off of what I would consider the weakest entry to the Suikoden franchise. Maybe good for super hardcore fans, but other than that, it is an average tactics game. Full Review »

Suikoden is a unique brand, and has a unique, mellow, refined charm that only some will appriciate. Time for the FFTactics comparisons to end,Suikoden is a unique brand, and has a unique, mellow, refined charm that only some will appriciate. Time for the FFTactics comparisons to end, folks. Branch out and discover the magic of Langrisser, Fire Emblem, Ogre Battle Saga, and Suikoden Tactics.

By the way, be weary of the PSM review. It spoils a very large part of the plot in one single, tactless sentence.
