This game is not what I was expecting. They did not fully use the POP engine and the combo system is really horrible. FMV's are also choppy. the constant chattering of the off-screen characters is annoying and you will more than likely just block them out. they could have done so much more with this. I hope the movie is better.

TMNT is a mediocore game, in all aspects. That in itself, I think, is a fault. The combat system takes some time to handle properly, and the general controls don't feel comfortable. Level design felt either really bland or frustrating to get around properly. However, the graphics are good, and the gameplay does feel a lot better as you progress through.

  1. TMNT has some legitimately neat platforming sequences, but it's more frustrating than a kid-oriented game ought to be, and the combat is completely brain-dead.
  2. The best Turtles game in years, which admittedly is kind of like saying you just got the best punch in the gut you’ve had in years. Nonetheless, TMNT entertains pretty consistently, delivering fast-paced thrills but almost no genuine challenge.

TMNT doesn't. With no co-operative mode available, single-button combat, and straightforward level design, all you're left with are some nice animations and decent platforming that just don't carry the weight.
