The sound is very disturbing in a Nine Inch Nails sort of way—very cool and very brooding, fitting in perfectly with the game.

It almost seems like the designers at Incog. Inc. felt a certain loathing for every other car-combat game that was shoveled out before it, and felt a violent, bloodthirsty necessity to wipe the slate clean...I am still quite awe-struck with the overall gameplay in this beautiful, incredible title.
  3. Not only the best in the series, but it also manages to be the best car combat game ever created and one of the best PlayStation 2 games currently available.
  4. For all its graphical splendor and high level of polish, the game’s inherent flaws are its high level of difficulty and relative lack of depth.

Plus, there are many combo moves, hidden areas and countless destructive items to find, including the ability to shoot down a 747, blow up a gas station, drive over pedestrians or electrocute prison inmates strapped into the chair. Fun for the whole family!
  6. The CG-movies are some of the most horrific ever seen in any form of media, and that includes horror movies, as well... a must have for any adult PS2 owner.
  7. 80
Undoubtedly the fastest, scariest, most challenging and adrenaline-pumping demolition game yet devised for the PS2.

This is what you look for in a game. Super-fast, violence, and missles and machine guns are all a game needs!

The first real horror game I ever really got my hands on. The gameplay and levels take a backseat as the individual stories and personalitiesThe first real horror game I ever really got my hands on. The gameplay and levels take a backseat as the individual stories and personalities of each character shine through in every possible way, from the menus to the cutscenes to the design of each vehicle. Details like the twisting body bag chained up in the back of the Preacher's car and the punishment No Face deals to the one who gave him his namesake stick with me to this day. Expand

Its a funny game, but I think that it goes to fast. The others simply drive a little to fast. Else it's a cool game.
