A pyrotechnic, psychedelic treat. [Feb 2011, p.93]
A relentless game that's only really let down by occasionally stodgy controls and its insane difficulty level. [Issue#200, p.103]
Neat mechanical twists, six lengthy levels, and boss fights that have you flying instead of stuck on the ground aren't enough to make Mist a great game. It's merely an interesting one, as a lack of detail in the environments and loose-feeling action keep it from excellence.
The graphics are moderate, but the controls can be clunky and may prevent you from enjoying the short experience.
Sorry, Rockin' Android. While we respect your intentions, we simply can't recommend Crescent Pale Mist. Its overbearing list of frustrations and lacking visuals and sound will leave you feeling red instead of pale.
When the best thing your game has going for it is supplemental abilities to support your primary one-button combat, you know you've got problems.
Enter at your own risk, for great disappointment awaits many who trespass upon this void.
