Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends
    Not much here
Showdown of Legendary Legends is a smash bros inspired brawler that can be played either local or online with up to 4 players
    However this isn’t much here…
Theres a typical verses mode, an online mode, and the tournament of legends mode…
Tournament of legends is the meat of this game…
It’s a mode where you choose one of this games 20 characters, choose a difficulty, and battle your way through a variety of 10 different matches to win the tournament of legends…
The variety here in the modes is nice…
It stops the tournament from getting boring as fast as it otherwise would..
But ultimately it doesn’t help this game feel the least bit of fun…
Youll be going through 2 on 2 matches, 2 on 1, 3 on 1, 4v4, 1v1, youll be playing king of the hill type matches all on the games 12 different stages…
Thankfully stages do have a bit of personality to them…
Not as much as smash bros.. but its there
They all feel unique and require different play styles…
and each characters thankfully feels unique here as well..
This is the only thing it does better than a game like brawlhalla for example.. is that each character feels different…
they have a different weight to them and a different set of moves…
Though for better or for worse, the control scheme here is insanely simple..
You have a normal attack that you can charge and a special attack… that’s it..
characters can also block and dodge, but youll mostly just be looking for the characters whos special attack and normal attack you like best…
and some of them are easily spammable…
throughout the matches there are pick ups to call in characters to help you knock opponents off the map, as well as weapons to do the same and health pickups to help you not be knocked around so easy…
And as the match goes on and you do damage youll be able to fill up an awesome meter and pull off an awesome move, which is almost for most characters a guaranteed ko…
    but that’s it.. that’s the game…
this is a very mediocre brawler..
The game functions, the online feels smooth… but because everything is so simple, matches ultimately feel button mashy rather than strategic, hectic, or fun.
if you don’t have a character with spammable moves, youre basically just seeing who gets the luckiest hits, who can take the least amount of damage or who can get to pickups first..
I give Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends
    a 5/10
