    There isn't much reason to play Escape Dead Island. The narrative has a few standout moments and you'll occasionally meet an enemy that will throw you for a loop. Those moments are, unfortunately, needles in a haystack of monotonous gameplay that's ultimately boring.

    I’m going to be honest with you, I haven’t finished Escape Dead Island yet. I just can’t bring myself to. The game plods along at a snail’s pace and just never hooks you. It’s certainly not the worst game I have ever played, but it’s bland and generic and feels rushed and unfocused.

    The developer attempts to justify non sequiturs with a psychological narrative that distorts reality, but the twists only become more and more meaningless as the escape progresses.

I expected playing some crap and quitting after 15min based on reviews, but ended up completing it and having a blast doing so. Story is interesting, there's no dead moments, it always keep going and adding new stuff and fckeup events. I would even say presentation of the story is better than the Dead Island game. Gameplay is fast and shooting action is tight. Level design are great.

    Not worth a 10, but I'm balancing for these whining kids who don't know what's good and what's not.    … Expand
