Bandai Namco has done an amazing job and deserves praise for bringing this extremely heavy Japanese title to the USA. As a fan of the original and fighting games in general, I highly recommend this one.
A visually ballistic and staggeringly polished fighter that offers great lip service for fans of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure while also delivering a game with enough flair to appeal to both determined and casual fans of the fighting genre. And if there’s one thing people will remember about All Star Battle, it’s that it’s stylish. Mission accomplished, Cyber Connect 2.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle is a remarkable game. Not because of its generic combat system, but because of the noticeable passion developer CyberConnect 2 has for the manga in which the game is based. It's a must-have for any JoJo fan; any layman who's interested should start reading the manga before playing the game.
CyberConnect2 created the ultimate game for fans of the show, with JoJo's Bizarre Adventures: All-Star Battle. With the forty characters and five different fighting styles the game is as extravagant as you might expect. Unfortunately it's also very unbalanced and the story mode disappoints when it comes to appearance. The micro transactions in the campaign are also quite repulsive.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventures: All Star Battle is a fun and visually stunning fighting game from CyberConnect2. The free-to-play elements are simply wrong for a full price game and its basic gameplay is not enough for fighting games veterans, but if you like the original manga this is a must buy. Hands down.
Playing this with a friend, you might get a solid evening's enjoyment out of JoJo's ludicrous special moves. But that's about it. As a fighting game, this doesn't present any contest to any of the established competitors.
Read the freakin' mango goddamnit it's really fabolous game based on fabolous manga ever made that ispired you favourite anime/manga and quotes your favourite musical bands what are you waiting for
If you're a hardcore JoJo fan (like me) then YOU NEED TO BUY THIS GAME.
But if you're just a regular fighting game fan who knows nothing about JoJo then you should skip this game.
The gameplay is good but not perfect
There are a lot of balancing issues and the Story mode ****
Overall very enjoyable game none the less.
But it has an amazing soundtrack
A wide selection of characters
A ton of cool stages
****'s just fun
Graphic: 8/10
Sound: 8/10
+ uniqe JoJo´s game style, nice manga graphic, cool characters, strong japanese voice, a lot of fighters +20, finish moves looks great
- short story mode, online lag, no deep battle atmosphere
Conclusion: Fans of the Manga/Anime, you can buy this game blind, but if you´re not in the materia, this game looks strange to you (watch first anime/manga). So the game contains all Manga stuff, and here is the big point of the game, the awesome graphics and finish moves. They looks better than in ever other anime-fighting game, great manga style and the finisher-moves boosts all out. The game offers more than 20 fighters, with uniqe moves and fighting styles. The original japanese voices are good and if you want to play a "diffrent" fighting game with more divas as normally, this is it.
SummaryJoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle gives players the feeling that they are participating in vivid and colorful battles straight from the pages of the manga.
