Above niggles aside, this is a game definitely worth adding to your collection. Combining elements of 3D physics-based puzzle solving with a well-established gothic horror narrative, Magrunner presents unique and addictive challenges.

If you're looking for another game like Portal, then Magrunner is definitely worth a try.

It may not come anywhere close to matching the games it's trying to ape (I didn't even get into the iffy graphics or the endless loading times between levels), but it least makes a valiant effort in the attempt.

Powerful ambiance, interesting storyline and good puzzle's design. Magrunner: Dark Pulse it's an remarkable adventure puzzle game but it's not perfect. Maybe the sequel will be better.
  5. An unrefined Portal-lite it may be, but this first-person puzzler occasionally weaves sharply spun noggin teasers to provide some proper ‘Eureka!’ moments.

An interesting game, whose main problem is probably the audience it is aimed at, and the fact that it doesn't offer any replay incentive. Anyway, 3D-puzzle lovers will find the use of magnetism something amusing, but that doesn't really make Magrunner the good game it could have been.
