"A game like this is exactly what I wanted in the classic remake trend. Sure, it doesn't bring much that's new, but it does expand on all that makes this genre great and, even better, it brings back the memories of great games from years past." ... Read full review

"After fifteen years Sparkster is back in a brand new adventure. The game is a pure platform game with great jetpack possibilities. The game is fun to play and also addictive. Visually the game looks stunning and the audio is fine. If you are looking for a fine platformer on your PlayStation 3, then Rocket Knight is a great purchase!" ... Read full review

"It may only be a two-hour game, but the difficulty is perfect, and it offers plenty of incentive for completionists." ... Read full review

"An inoffensive 2D platformer with some novel ideas - but fairly vapid and overly expensive." ... Read full review

"For all its competence, there's no real hook for anyone who doesn't remember the original Rocket Knight game. It appeals mainly to nostalgia for the way platformers used to be. Although it has a lovely next-gen presentation with the hi-res, 3D graphics engine, this is very much two-or-three-gens-ago gameplay." ... Read full review

This was around the end of 2009 and shortly after New Year's day, I heard rumors that a new Rocket Knight game was in the works. Shortly afterward I have myself a digital copy of Rocket Knight on my PS3...and I love it! The graphics are BEAUTIFUL, the soundtrack is a bunch of orchestral remixes of past Rocket Knight tracks (which is a plus in my book), and it plays like a dream. But it doesn't really add on to the established Rocket Knight formula. I HIGHLY recommend you check this out, as it's also avalible on XBLA and Steam. It is an almost perfect game! Expand

It also offers the possibility of replaying it to get higher scores and all the trophies (which can be a bit frustrating at times). It is not the best side-scrolling platforming game, but it fulfills its purpose quite well. Expand
