Skydive: Proximity Flight turned out to be a great option to play and have fun with your friends. Maybe skydiving simulation wasn't a top choice for some of us, but we can assure you that you will have a great time sorting obstacles in the sky, dressed as a squirrel or Count Dracula while your friends laugh and wait for their turn.

Like a NASCAR driver that enjoys turning left, if you can see yourself soaring through the air over and over without getting bored in an hour, Skydive is your huckleberry.

Keeping its head in the clouds and its feet on the ground, Gaijin is able to capture the excitement of skydiving and delivers a solid game. Even when you'll complete everything the game has to offer, you'll come back on regular basis just to feel the pleasure of flight.

The concept of B.A.S.E. Jumping is great, but not ready in its current state. The game lacks to give you a real adrenaline boost, while B.A.S.E. Jumping will. Skydive: Proximity Flight will also come to Oculus Rift which will obviously give you a more authentic experience.

If Skydive’s flight ends in a bargain bin, you can give it a try. Otherwise there are so many great games to play. [13/2013, p.71]

Jumping into a wingsuit in Skydive: Proximity Flight is fun and different at first, but after playing an hour or so, it becomes apparent that there isn’t much else going on with the game.

For most savvy gamers there is a wealth of cheaper, better alternatives currently available via the PlayStation Network.
