Oct 3, 2011Like an MMA rookie about to get into his first cage fight, Supremacy MMA is wild and energetic but inexperienced and rough around the edges. It's got guts, grit, and growl, but not enough stamina to last a full match, especially when stacked up against other games that cost $49.99.

Oct 24, 2011Overall, it's an awesome game if you have the reflexes of a jaguar and can second guess every opponent's next move but for most humans it will just be a whole lot of frustration and not nearly enough reward.

CD-ActionNov 9, 2011Weak fighting system, sluggish controls, laughable stories and general lack of thrill make it a major disappointment. If you're a fan of MMA, buy EA Sports MMA or UFC Undisputed, because the only thing that can be fun in Supremacy MMA is its brutality (and this effect wears off quickly). [November 2011, p.58]

Oct 28, 2011A failed game, whose initial idea was attractive and different, and might have become an alternative to the two dominant series. Unfourtunately, 505 Games has failed implementing it, resulting in a lackluster game with a very bad control.

Play UKNov 18, 2011For an hour or so Supremacy MMA is mildly entertaining, but its lack of depth, strange submission systems and attempts to move away from many of the sport's fundamentals makes it a difficult sell. [Issue#211, p.85]

Oct 10, 2011It promised a light-hearted take on one of the world's most serious sports and it never gets anywhere close to showing that. Poor character designs, terrible mini-narratives, and a broken fight system make this a waste of time and effort. Fans of MMA might satisfy some blood lust, but for everyone else, it shouldn't even register on your gaming radar.

Oct 4, 2011There are too many things in this game that simply don't work, making EA or THQ's offerings much more attractive.
