This unique puzzle game is remade for the PlayStation 4, with hard but fun puzzles and an Indiana Jones like character, you'll be having a lot of fun with the game. Don't expect an AAA-title, just a very fun puzzle game.
This remaster enhances the original, but also presents the same shortcomings. It's not a bad game, but it feels slightly outdated and it's not particularly long.
I bought the game on sale at the PS store for 2.29 usd.
Money vs. fun I give it a 10. If more expensive (say over 5) then I would rather not recommend it.
Graphics and acting are not AAA or good quality indy developer though they are serviceable.
The puzzles however are very fun and put you to think.
They are very diverse (the game is short -took me 5 hours, most of it trying to figure out the solutions- and not repetitive at all).
If you don't mind the dated presentation, and you are into puzzles, then I recommend this game.
This game was a very pleasant surprise. It truly gets back to the basics, GAMEPLAY. The graphics are good not great but like i said the gameplay, especially the puzzles are what had me hooked from the beginning. My son (14) also became a little addicted and we had a blast taking turns getting thru the levels. I would definitely recommend. Oh and one more thing i liked was how this game doesn't take itself too seriously. Great humor thrown in at just the right times.
Adam's Venture: Origins is fun, mainly because of its enjoyable story and engaging puzzles. However, its short length makes the price tag seem unreasonable, especially when you consider the fact that Adam's gameplay antics haven't exactly aged well.
Adam's Quest Origins is a bad adventure game and a barely good puzzle game. The environments looks good to watch but tearing everywhere and a lot of others technical problem make it not very good to play.
On a technical level, the game is simply a shambles, with amateurish animation and obtrusive texture pop-in accompanying your every step. [June 2016, p.87]
Decent puzzle game. Lots of nice puzzles that are fairly easy but do take some thought. The graphics are OK, sound etc is also OK. Funny banter and humour throughout the game which I liked. I'd recommend it to adventure/puzzle gamers
The reason I give it only 7 is just because it's too short! Yeah, the graphics are not great, rather funny sometimes, but it doesn't ruin the puzzle gameplay. Maybe Uncharted series is better, but the overall quality of puzzles and complexity of these puzzles are much better than in four Uncharted games! All in all - I enjoyed playing it very much.
Well i bought this game for a like two bucks i think. Money wise, this is a good enough game, managed to spent 4+ hours in it (and got the plat too!). Gameplay: horrendous voice acting, cliche story, clunky controls. But, the puzzle was unexpectedly fun, and adam's joke can sometimes be a bit funny, if not weird :D
Costo-Beneficio: pagué 0.20USD por él en la PSN.
JUGABILIDAD:
Unfortunately I can’t say much positive about the game. Puzzle solving fans will surely have some fun with Adam but that comes with lots of frustration. With terrible voice acting, bad graphics and overall weird design choices it’s very hard to recommend this game. (sorry developers)
