Atelier Meruru DX is the third installment of the Atelier series and can very well be considered the best of the trilogy thanks to the game's greater emphasis on the alchemy aspect of gameplay and the rich variety of characters, which help its plot become the most enjoyable of the three games.
Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland DX wraps up the story of the trilogy nicely but fails to impress from a gameplay standpoint.

Summary The 3rd release in the Arland series. Princess of the small frontier country of Arls, Meruru plans to use alchemy to stimulate the growth of her small country. Use Synthesis, Explore, and Battle to increase the population within the time limit and boost the advancement of the kingdom.
