May 5, 2016Even without the multiplayer, however, Battle Worlds Kronos is a unique, deep, and rich tactical strategy game. It’s not something I ever expected to see on my home consoles, but it’s nice to see, because as much as I like my wargames, I really do prefer to kick back in front of the TV when I’m in the mood to play games.
-
May 18, 2016Beneath Battle Worlds: Kronos' archaic veneer is a strangely satisfying strategy game. Just make sure you’re the right candidate for the job before buying in.
-
May 19, 2016Battle Worlds: Kronos is a game all about tactical unit distribution and the art of patience and preparation. Unfortunately, I have neither the art of preparation nor the virtue of patience. If you do have the aptitude required for a classic unit-based strategy game though, then definitely give Battle Worlds: Kronos a go. It’s certainly not for everyone, but it’s a well-polished package that has plenty to offer for fans of old school turn-based strategy.
-
May 9, 2016The lack of a multiplayer element is quite shocking, hopefully there will be an update that adds it. The slick presentation helps Battle Worlds: Kronos come across as an approachable game but once you’re in you’ll be there for a very long time.
-
May 21, 2016Battle Worlds: Kronos is completely functional, even good by indie standards, but it just made me want to play other games. The story is not gripping and the neither is the gameplay.
-
Jun 11, 2016Challenging but never as enjoyable as it could have. Battle Worlds: Kronos has fun moments, but many will find the difficulty curve far too frustrating. Poor console optimization means progression is often limited by a lack intuitive movement controls. This is for the hardcore strategy fans only.
