Blackguards 2 presents a dark and engaging tale that's sure to haunt you even after you put it down. When you factor in the rewarding and challenging SRPG gameplay, you're left with a must-have game for those looking to put their tactical abilities to the test.

Blackguards 2 comes to consoles with the same formula as its first installment, a turn-based tactical RPG. A different title inside the genre that could be interesting for those searching for new adventures.

The missions can be very long and a few unlucky moves can put an end to all the time you spent on the level. It can also be very punishing later in the game if you make any sub-optimal AP allocations. AP seems to be limited, so if you can't progress without a certain skill but lack the AP to unlock it, you're might be out of luck.

I've also come across some levels that become impossible after the first turn (possible due to a bug?) - such as when all your characters move off a draw bridge (which you'll later need as an escape route), the bridge is raised with no way of lowering it.
