    It´s been almost 10 years from its release, and Modern Warfare campaign still feels great, multiplayer design works well and visual improvement is enough to compete against modern shooters.

    Modern Warfare Remastered on the PS4 is one of the best remasters in recent memory. It's a game worth having - especially if we played the original only when it came out or (what's even worse) we haven't at all. And when the multiplayer issues are resolved and the game becomes a stand-alone product, it'll be great.

    A lot of love and care went into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, and I hope other developers (including some of Activision's own studios, I'm looking at you Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Prototype) take note.

    The game itself remains unchanged and while an excellent game in it’s day, COD: MWR often shows its true age with animations looking just a little clunky by today’s standards and a few small missteps that were present in the original which could have, and should have been amended in this new and improved version.

    Good variety between the missions, and although I was totally lost at the beginning of the story and stayed that way a little too long, aGood variety between the missions, and although I was totally lost at the beginning of the story and stayed that way a little too long, a narrative soon began to emerge that was fast-paced and interesting. My biggest complaint, however, is that enemies took too many shots to bring down, and I didn’t like that there are parts in which your enemies will spawn endlessly until you reach the objective. Those two aspects reminded me I was playing a video game—especially if you miss your head shots, because you’ll be standing there shooting some guy in the thigh six or seven times before he finally goes down. Your shots feel light-weight and wimpy.… Expand

    This is my review over Modern Warfare Remastered. This game may not be my favorite but it definitely isn’t the worst game I’ve ever played in my lifetime. It definitely has some flaws and some things that it made a lot better than the last game. I will be telling you about the things that I thought the developers did better and some things I think they could’ve done better on or added into the game.

    Some of the things that I think they did good on were keeping in the glitch spots. You may have no idea what a glitch spot is, well a glitch spot is a place that you shouldn’t be able to go to in the original game. They have many glitch spots on many different maps, which I think is a cool feature that they have kept into the game. They kept in the feature of only 3 score streaks which I think is a lot better because you don’t have to wonder what killed you or how do they know exactly where you are. Another thing that they have kept into the game is the original guns and weapons that they had in the first game.

    They have still kept in the supply drop factor which I think ruins the entire game in the sense that you can either buy crypto keys or you can grind in the game to get the keys which you can later, use for getting different items. Another thing that I think is a really bad feature is the red name display and how you can’t turn it off. It makes it really unfair to play hide and seek. The other things is that there are limited attachments for the guns and it makes the game really limited.    … Expand
