Catherine: Full Body is a remake that adds an enormous amount of value and gives audiences who missed out another opportunity to enjoy this title. It’s accessible to all players regardless of skill level and has a story which is riveting and poignant. For players who have played the original release, now you have an opportunity to take a new branch as well as take on the world to show your climbing skills. One would say this title has definitely aged well and can be considered a fine vintage.

We loved it when it fist came out, and we still love it today. The core of Full Body is the same, but new additions and changes to the storyline are a good reason to go back to this unique adventure.

Full Body’s occasional well-intentioned but problematic narrative additions don’t suffocate its core, choice-laden plot as it is still strong enough to persist despite how outdated the new branches can be. Aside from being open to more people, its block puzzles didn’t see as much of an upgrade but they remain as tense, thrilling, and sometimes frustrating as they were in 2011.

Catherine is certainly a fun and challenging game, both in its gameplay and story and character elements. In some of these moments it succeeds, in others, it fumbles, and falls flat on its face. But that doesn't mean it's unimportant, as it is good to learn from mistakes made previously in order to improve at a later point in time.

Catherine Full Body is the same or even more recommended than original version: more scenes, more music, new game modes and a character that changes everything. An experience that will not disappoint any type of player.

Catherine: Full Body didn't really change my opinion on Catherine all that much. I'm still as conflicted as I was in 2011 with a love for the art style and weirdness of the game. The uninspired puzzles that make up the rest of it wear out their welcome too quickly though.

Now I'll jump to the Full Body version of the game. This is way more than I expected. Back in the day I played this game and loved every minute with it. It has a really solid story, great acting, solid gameplay with great puzzles and incredible music. They could very well put this game on HD and sell it again, but they really improved themselves. They added a new love interest and it's way more than an after thought, I was expecting a new segment, but it was integrated in the regular game. They added a bunch of features in the whole package, like the remix mode and new features on the easy mode if you just want to enjoy the story. The game has new cutscenes, music, dialogues, etc. This is how the industry should release old games! Expand

For example: the graphic is improved, they added textures in higher resolution, dynamic shadows, better lightning and new backgrounds, filters (raindrops) in puzzle mode! The bar looks fantastic! Only downside is too much blur for me, but is not that bad like in Control. Many QoL (Quality off Live) improvements in gameplay. The new character Rin is very interesting, i liked her. for her personality and
childish innocence. Except that Atlus Added new endings and cutscenes ( Vincent flashbacks are awesome, but too short, and too rare), added new game difficulty Safety (god mode, perfect for those who want get into the story) and new soundtracks (new OST from Persona 5, Persona 4 Golden, Persona 4 Arena and from Project Re Fantasy, example my favourite ,,Brake Out'' from P4 Ultimax or SNOWFLAKES from P4 Golden). Game is a bit easier than original (bosses moves bit slower, Rin temporarily freeze blocks falling, Auto Run mode to the place of your death - u can turn on/off that in options). Title run much smoother than PS3 version (i think game runs in 60 fps most of the time, even in PS4 Slim). I got only few mini freezes when Rin played on the piano in puzzle mode. If u are ATLUS/Persona games fan instant buy this now !!! If u not, subtract the point from the assessment, and buy it if u like logic/Visual Novel games.
