Aug 18, 2016Dead Island: Retro Revenge is a short but good game that is fun if you give it a chance.
-
May 31, 2016We’re comfortable recommending this title to gamers looking for a quick fix of solid, 2D beat-’em-up action without many frills.
-
May 31, 2016Dead Island: Retro Revenge won't set the world on fire, but it's a very solid and enjoyable, endless runner-style game. It's challenging, action-packed and filled to the brim with blood and guts, while also featuring an immersive score attack system.
-
May 31, 2016The concept is reasonably well-executed, but this isn’t the kind of experience that gives you a lot to sink your teeth into. Still, as a bonus thrown in with another game and made available as a super-cheap download, it is easily worth its asking price.

Jul 14, 2016It’s got a great retro vibe and the aesthetic is beautiful. Sadly, the runner mechanics take away the fun and goodwill, leaving it as forgettable as the Dead Island franchise itself.
-
Jun 3, 2016Overall Dead Island Retro Revenge is an awesome addition to the franchise and I enjoyed spending some time playing through the challenging stages. Its certainly not as deep and diverse as the main games but it offers a something a bit different.
