I'm Probably still one of the few people that still play Destiny and enjoy it. I have been a fan since day one even with it's problems. I hated the loot drops, micro-transactions, and parts of the story. But I still had hope that the game could be better and Destiny 1 did become better over time. Does that excuse these problems? No. But since I first played the game I loved it from the world and creatures to the powers and armor. Destiny 2 came out and while It's not like Destiny 1 I can say some problems were fixed. The story was much improved from Vanilla Destiny 1. Now most say that it sucks and is bad, and while yes it can be generic and stereotypical at times, at least Vanilla Destiny 2 HAD A **** STORY! I hated the bull crap from the original story of not explaining anything and having no actual plot. Sure it's not Shakespeare but there was a goal rather than destroying "the Darkness" for most of the base game. I don't like everything that Destiny 2 has either removed or done to the game. I'm just saying that maybe there are worse games out in the world doing **** things with **** stories and worlds and get no criticism. So far as I have played through Forsaken its at least fun and I care about what is happening in the universe. While it's no Taken King I do think it is better than people think. Look I will be honest and say that I can be biased towards Destiny. I have also never owned or played through a Halo game so I do not compare storytelling between either franchise. I like PLAYING THE GAME, I like the world that the game takes place in and wish that the game series can be better through every expansion. I can only hope for the best.… Expand
