Feb 5, 2017You don't have to be good at or even like on-rails shooters to enjoy it, and because it's such a frustration free experience, maybe it will even act as a great gateway game for the genre.

Feb 2, 2017This might mean that VR games never fit in with the current expectations of non-VR games, but when they’re stuff like Dexed, I don’t mind in the slightest. This is a game that focuses on immersion, and immersive it is. Simple gameplay loops give players a reason to keep coming back and playing more, but what will stay with you for far longer is just how beautiful it all is.
-
Feb 5, 2017Dexed can look simple, but it offers a challenging gameplay that can be really engaging and fun. It doesn't have much content, though, but is priced accordingly.
-
Jan 31, 2017Dexed is a valiant first attempt by Ninja Theory in the VR space but it suffers like many other early VR titles by feeling more like a tech demo than a full game. When you factor in the price, you are getting an okay package, but it’s unlikely you’ll want to head back once you’ve played through the stages on offer for a few hours.

Feb 4, 2017Quotation forthcoming.

Playstation Official Magazine UKApr 11, 2017It's double-handed fun while it lasts. [Apr 2017, p.90]
-
Feb 27, 2017Dexed is the kind of thing you might play a few times, in short sittings, and never return to again. There's not enough here to earn your continued interest, and while the on-rails shooting works well and seems promising at first, the game it's attached to fails to build on that initial seed of an idea.

Feb 7, 2019This game is a passable, not great on rails shooter. After 30 minutes I felt like I was done with it.
